Pegged as being the fourth largest European airlines, Turkish Airlines has been moving quite aggressively into the position of the airline industry’s leader. The airlines flies to locations around the round like Asia, Europe, North America, South America and is making plans to provide service in certain locations of Africa. Turkish Airlines has been in the flying industry for almost 80 years. Its history has plenty of highs and lows. However, the most important aspect for any business, and perhaps especially an airline, is they not only still exist but are stronger than they have ever been.
There seems to be an increase in passenger flow especially among expatriates. Once they pick good licensed moving company to relocate, then their next move is to estimate moving costs, and select Turkish Airlines as their carrier of choice.
During October of 2011 Turkish Airlines made the announcement that it was going to continue expanding during the upcoming year. Obviously, this is wonderful news for this airline that is growing very quickly. The Turkish Ministry of Transport released information that the airlines would have eleven new locations this year. There will be four flights a week to Shiraz, Iran starting in the middle of March. Starting in the middle of March, Turkish Airlines will fly to Los Angeles, CA four times a week. This is good news if you are going to the west cost of the US. Other places on the list include the countries of China, Greece, Spain, France, and 3 distinct locations in Italy. Throughout the latter part of 2010, Caroline Wozniacki, ranked the world’s number one ranked women’s tennis player, signed an interesting deal with Turkish Airlines.
This level of brand recognition is a strong effort by the airline to be viewed seriously on an international level. The plan is to have Miss Wozniacki representing the airline’s Business Class Service. European tennis lovers are the primary target audience for the airline’s high profile spokesperson. She will be appearing in various commercials and public relations events for the airline throughout her three year contract.
The purpose of the Turkish Airlines rewards program is to get people to upgrade to better classes as often as possible. Certainly, the benefits are numerous for their passengers as well. All Miles & Smiles members can upgrade their tickets from Economy, Business or Comfort Classes. Depending on their tickets, customers can switch to First Class, Business Class and Comfort Class. The price paid for each upgrade is the correct number of miles earned from the rewards program. Since the Turkish Airlines has had years of steady profits, they are in a wonderful position to do what all businesses should do. The airlines have been showing their marketing wisdom because they are branding their business in a very good manner globally. We believe that this is a very quick moving company and that it is ready to take on the very competitive aviation and flight travel markets globally. Not only have there been a spate of sports celebrity multi-year contracts, but the company has been expanding their fleet and making improvements on all fronts.
